Transplant & Immunocompromised Infections
Immunosuppressed patients are vulnerable to opportunistic viral, bacterial and fungal infections that demand rapid, broad diagnostic coverage.
Recipients of solid-organ or stem-cell transplants and other immunocompromised patients are at risk of opportunistic infections — CMV, EBV, BK virus, invasive fungi and multidrug-resistant bacteria — that can progress rapidly and mimic graft rejection or drug toxicity. Molecular quantification and broad syndromic panels assist early detection and monitoring, interpreted always with clinical correlation. Panel configurations: data to be updated.
